We are a trans-denominational center that supports individual spiritual growth.   We are a loving, supportive community, which inspires all to experience spiritual unfoldment, healing, and growth through the principles of the Science of Mind.  Science of Mind is a universal philosophy/religion/way of life that evolved out of the Transcendentalist movement of the late 1800’s (see Science of Mind/Religious Science).

In February, 2007, we celebrated twenty years as a New Thought church in Alamance County.  We began as a Unity Church, and later affiliated with United Church of Religious Science calling our church Unity Church of Religious Science. 

In order to portray a new identity that is more inviting, expresses our trans-denominational nature, and end confusion with Scientology, delegates at the United Church of Religious Science annual meeting in March 2006 supported a new name for its' 200 plus member churches. (see links)

As members of Center for Spiritual Living - Graham we are excited about our new name, and our new Spiritual Leader, Rev. Sandra Lee Swift.
